Due to a shortage of hospital grade hand sanitiser during the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, INEOS turned its ethanol-making capabilities into sanitiser mass-production. Under extreme time pressure and requiring a fast turnaround, INEOS turned to the Into the Blue Creative Team for brand development and commercial rollout.
The Challenge
Develop and manage the Hygienics brand from initial design concepts to launching consumer-ready products. Design of product packaging, development of marketing and sales assets, internal business materials, external consumer-facing products, user manuals and retail-ready packaging designs.
Develop premium packaging to elevate the Hygienics Dispenser to sit alongside other high-end home electronics. Create Hygienics sponsorship assets for use throughout the INEOS Sports portfolio, including Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, British America's Cup Team, Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice Football Team and INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team.
The Result
Into the Blue worked across 25 international markets, in multiple languages, with varying safety regulations and design specifications. We created all product assets, including product labels, box packaging, product safety datasheets and imagery to facilitate the market product launches.
Into the Blue continues to work with INEOS, providing ongoing brand guardianship for the core hygienics range, including marketing and points of sale, as well as supporting design direction for various offshoot brands, such as the INEOS Sports Sanitiser sprays and gels, and the Viramal range of Aloe and Unscented products.
